Dan Ventures wants dan-ventures.com (the “Site”) to be usable by everyone, including people who use assistive technology.

Our goal

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. We treat this as ongoing work, not a finished task.

What we do

• Use semantic HTML with clear headings, landmarks and a “Skip to content” link.
• Support keyboard navigation with visible focus.
• Provide text alternatives for meaningful images and hide purely decorative elements from screen readers.
• Respect your system’s reduced-motion and dark-mode settings.
• Label every form field and announce form results to screen readers.
• Keep layouts readable when text is enlarged and on small screens.

Known limitations

Some decorative animations and background graphics are not described to screen readers because they carry no information. Links to third-party sites, such as social media, are outside our control and may not meet the same standard.
